CDBaby is the most helpful and supportive distributor in this merciless music industry. That's why I don't need a record label or a greedy jackal promoter in order to be represent. I don't say whole promoters are greedy and jackal. No, I am not saying that. But some of them are really jackal, inconsiderate and greedy. And you know this better than me. Please don't pretend like you don't know. In summary, dear CDBaby is a best distributor to work with. I don't need any record label or jackal promoter.

Do not do business with CD Baby, their services simply do not work as advertised and their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, I chose this company to distribute and album to the Digital Music Store and it took me 4 days to try and upload my audio files and in the end I gave up, I then requested a refund for the significant monies I had paid them and after two week waiting I still have had no communication from them at all - I must advise, never. never, never use this company - the are an absolute nightmare!!!!!

My experience with CD Baby has been great. I intend to make new releases I don't see a better partner to help me with the distribution of my work. I believe it was a good deal, everyone is to be congratulated.

CD Baby has always distributed my music in a timely manner. CD Baby has also partnered with a number of service providers that have helped indie artists like me to promote their music. Whenever CD Baby adds new streaming services, my music is automatically distributed with no further effort from me. CD Baby offers comprehensive reports that enable me to track sales worldwide.

CD Baby is easy to use and gets your music heard everywhere. And if you have any questions they have a helpful customer service as well

I am a CD Baby collaborator for 3-4 years so here are my thoughts about them. They distribute to many stores and they PAY WEEKLY, but the BIG DOWNSIDE is the custommer support, it takes DAYS or WEEKS for a response and except one time every reply to a problem that I had was off the subject. They don't really read the email or request that I sent them, usualy they reply with a general answer copied from their website instead of responding to what exactly the problem is. GOOD DISTRIBUTION, VERY BAD SUPPORT.

I wanted to think CD Baby is a resource I could use to publish my music and collect my proceeds but in my case it is not working. My music did get published but they are not collecting and paying me digital CD sales from as far back as 4 months ago. I have a one month old open help ticket with CD Baby that I sent them actual receipts of purchases from 4 months ago and they will not respond. These are sales that I have the receipts so I know about them there could be more I don't know about.
I wanted to do additional business with them but they simply don't respond or care. It appears to be a common theme for them. Read their reviews on-line and their complaints with the Better Business Bureau.
If their process worked I wouldn't need to make a complaint or put in a help ticket.

I paid CDBaby for publishing administration over a year ago. They never actually set it up and never provided the service. I've sent multiple emails and even a bbb complaint, but no response. Basically they stole my money and didn't even pretend to provide the publishing device. These people are complete crooks and scam artists. Do not let them rip you off.

I really love the integrations CD Baby offers. Such as show.co, mastering etc. They have a great base of business connections even with Bandzoogle. It really helps with an artist's career move toward the top, or whatever top is to the artist! Looking forward to see how the digital streams perform in regards to royalties! Thanks.

Well, I uploaded everything perfecrly. Waited a month. One question that I did click yes on came through about connecting to social media. Answered it again, bumped right back to the back of the que. How long do I have to wait now??? You are quick to take my money...not happy with your service.

I will never use cdbaby for future projects due to the horrible lack of communication . Myself as well as many other artists I know had bad experiences with reIeasing new music recently . If there was a presence of any communication in general , I would not feel this way .
